There was an inscription on the Pillars of Heracles:  "nec plus ultra"  - "nothing more" or "there is nothing else".

It was like a warning. Maybe it had a business context, especially for those who ruled the strait and had access to the "rest of the world"...bWe know that people have crossed this border. It is known that ancient sailors reached the American continent.bApparently it is so, that the borders are for breaking them too.

There are also borders today. These geographical look like conquered. But there are still mental borders, because, as Albert Einstein said, it's easier to break an atom than superstition. Today some people say again that we know everything, and they give science almost religious status... Well.. we should remember, that true science allows unacceptable... And he knows that:

1. does not know much 2. discretion is an important matter 3. knowledge is not the most important

Piri Reis already in 1513 had maps, among which was one with the coasts of South America and ... Antarctica, discovered 300 years later. Admiral also once met a pilot ... Columbus, Juan de la Cosa. A few years later, in 1520, Ferdinand Magellan revealed what he saw on the maps of the King of Portugal, and in 1733 Philippe Bauche possessed a map of Antarctica without ice - as two islands. Such maps from 500 years ago are copies of maps from thousands of years ago. That's what their owners said about them. What does it matter? It shows us a different picture of old times, and this leads to  bigger questions.

12.10. 1492 Columbus Day.

Not all celebrate this day, because whites - especially in North America - are not very well remembered. However civilizations had to meet. Travel stories, not only ChristoFerens Colon (Columbus), indicate that once, centuries ago, the American continent was already visited. We can find this information in the local legends and stone objects. Traces are at least 3: Irish monks, Vikings and Phoenicians ....Interestingly, The Phoenicians, like the Cretans, the Etruscans, the Troyans, Basks and Egyptians were called redskins ...! Even 1000 years BC Mayan historian, Votan wrote that visited Tripoli and propably Jerusalem. So who was discovered or visited?

The discovery of America happened also because Europe has received from the East, from the Arab  and Hebrew world, maps, letters and other writings of the ancient world. We can say that the Renaissance has brought the informations of Antiquity.  The conclusion is simple: the ancient world knew a lots. We discover  many issues and events what was knowning in prehistoric times.

Very long years of life in Gen 5. Metaphor ? Maybe not.

They lived several hundred years ... some 900, others 700 or 800. Enoch was taken earlier ...
I think that before the Flood was a different composition of the atmosphere. And that was probably a good conditions for life and health. The cataclysm of the Deluge is perhaps not only the lands under water, but also ... millions of tons of volcanic gases in the atmosphere, etc.
There are many "documentary" programs on this topic, but most of them say that those cataclysms could be only millions or hundreds of thousands years ago.
I do not know if it is right. View Wikipedia, read about errors in dating rocks age. Imagine another scenario of events.
The outbreak of the Krakatau volcano ( the end of the 19th century ) made on the Earth darker and cooler for 2 years It was almost yesterday...

In any case, biblical description says that on the Earth after the flood was systematic shortening of life. Size of life too ?
IIs that just a matter of oxygen, atmospheric composition etc...?
I do not know. I was not there then.

Yesterday is gone, and tomorrow is not yet. It is only today, but we do not know what this "today" is. So, more or less, St. Augustine describes it. He adds that if the past is gone and the future is not yet, the human spirit is mainly memory.

The hero of film "Weather for Tomorrow" says that life experience is not important, but what we remember. We can say that memory has a powerful influence on our "today". It does not have to be done consciously. Forget ... that's the point!

The film "Titanic" shows a sunken wreck and its appearance before sinking. But not only. One scene shows Rose's eye. In a few seconds, the 17-year-old's eye moves from a 17-year-old to an older lady. The eye looks the same, but, as the mirror of the soul, expresses the past that remained in it. This scene reminds me that in life "everything is recorded". If so, there is important for the quality of our "today", what can be seen in our eyes...

The soul is like a hard drive. Disk that has a Constructor and unique software. This software was once virulent and the virus is transmitted sexually. In other ways we can not explain the disk disorder. That is why everyone needs an Antivirus...

Methods of dating. Could we be sure they? If yes, to what time ? In my opinion, only to era of completely different atmospheric, climatic, geologic conditions. For example, why is the Grand Canyon still dated as younger than earlier dating.

The Phoenicians called themselves: Bani Kan'an - "children of Canaan" They knew the script, soap and ... money. Canaan is the grandson of Noah.
So...everything is correct...  Genesis 10.32

Anasazi - so conventionally called the culture of the ancient Pueblo people in North America. "Anasazi" means: "People who lived before us" This quite conventional phrase, however, contains a lot of message. So we can call any culture "living before us". However, ancient American cultures have similarities with other cultures in the world. Their mythical founders are often ... white bearded men ...
Dated at 3 113 years BC. The Maya calendar's start (4 Ahau 8 Cumhu) shows a similarity with the Hebrew dating of the events of the Flood ...
Before the Aztecs lived here Maya, and before them the so-called. Toltec / Olmecs. Who were they?

Researchers say about 4 types of hominids, unlinked to each other. Svante Pääbo, author of the Neanderthal DNA sequencing in 2010, said that the Neanderthal is the same as us. The newest "ancestors" from the Denisov cave and Homo Hablilis do not fit to  the other hominids.
The simplest way to "find" a missing link is ... the use of time. It is said that the "not-yet-man" lived millions of years ago. And "no-just-man" evolves for millions of years.  I only ask:  where are the "today" examples, here and now? There are not. "Missing link" is still missing...

The natural diversity of the Galapagos Islands was fascinated by Charles Darwin. The differences between birds or turtles on the various islands of this archipelago get him to a revolutionary thesis that the changes within a species are evidences of a general theory of interspecific change.

Birds with different beaks still are birds, turtles with different necks still remain turtles. Fruit flies, a favorite subject of genetic research, change colors and "hairstyles" but still are fruit flies.
There are no "intersex" animals. There are no cat-dog, cow-horse, etc. It maybe "brutal" examples but it is necessary to show that changes within a species can be quantitative rather than qualitative.
Inuit and Pygmy are different, but they are human, they can have offspring, also humans.  Simple ? In the USSR "scientifics" tried to inseminate women with the semen of the monkeys. Ohrid, disgusting "scientific" pigs... did not show results because they were not.
Goat-sheep "Dolly" or mule, specific genetic types, are... infertile. If Darwin's observations from the Galapagos are understood as Darwinists suggest, evolution would lead to ... regression and even extinction of the species.
So ? Changes within the species do not change the species. Evolution in species ? Yes. Evolution inter species ? No.

Life had and has a Creator. It is so simple and so difficult...

Air. What is this ?
A mixture of gases. About 78% of nitrogen, about 21% of oxygen and 1% of others. Some say that before the flood, the amount of oxygen in the air was 30-32%. Such is the air enclosed in amber. That may explain the giantism of that world. But it's a matter for another story. Let's stay today.

We inhale about 6 tons of air per year. About 15 kg per day. About 25,000 breaths a day. Without breath, without oxygen we do not live. Oxygen goes to the blood, and blood transports oxygen to the whole body. What about nitrogen? That's almost 80% of our breaths.

Nitrogen is supposedly neutral but has influence on the fluids in our brains. Nitrogen under pressure can make hallucinations, headaches, euphoria, talkiness and even loss of consciousness. Big winds can change human behavior. Sometimes tragic... (suicides)

Air, pressure, wind, atmosphere. We remember them when they blow or heat. We are part of nature anyway. But even if we know much about the weather, we can not forget the word: respect. Respect for weather forces and processes.  Respect for air, because... "something is in the air."

"We know more about the brain, we notice more the differences - brain events and mental phenomena - and we can see wonderful of both. Promisory materialism is the religious belief of dogmatic materialists ... who often confuse their religion with science."
